Drawing from the visual worlds of science and nature, the human figure, the grand tradition of American illustration, Japanese scroll paintings and woodblock prints, fantasy illustration, and great artists of Europe, Elliott’s work strikes the viewer at first with a powerful tableau and draws them in to experience the subtlety and beauty within. Beyond the pictorial impact of his work, themes personal to him such as body image, environmental preservation, and social and psychological repression weave themselves throughout his work.

Doctor Who TARDIS guitar

A functional electric guitar that sounds great!  Constructed of solid basswood, maple Les Paul style pickups wiring bridge parts.

Below is a video of the build process.

Portable Photo Booth

A photo booth I built for my friend Russell Gearhart's photo business.  The entire machine including buttons, 2 monitors where the client can see their image before the photo, camera, computer and flash unit are all contained in 1 portable case with wheels and mount for c-stand.

Wallykazaam magic Wand

The wand was 3D printed, cast multiple times in urethane plastic and painted with acrylics.  Several copies were made as gifts for the cast and crew. One special presentation box was made with painted wood and white velvet lining.

Sci-Fi Animation Maquettes

A collection of three maquettes for the marketing of a film I was Production Designer on. These are about 12” tall with their bases. All are 3D printed from their models, cleaned up, with some accessories and clothing hand fabricated, then painted. All of the bases were sculpted and cast by me, and the Girl and Monkey have lighting that is controlled by a remote as well.

Animation Maquettes of Mushka and Sara

A hand sculpted pair of characters from the animated short Mushka directed by Andreas Deja. I sculpted this pair based on sketches by Andreas. Mold and cast 10 copies and painted one in full color.

Wood picture Frames

A few examples of hand made wood frames I have made for my artwork. The Swamp Vampiresses painting also uses a Cypress knee from Alabama sawn in half and used to support the top of the frame. The Panda Frame uses 2 forged steel bamboo columns on either side of the frame.

Fine Jewelry design and Fabrication

Several custom diamond and precious stone engagement rings, fine silver and opal necklaces bracelets and earrings. Crafted by hand as well as modeled in 3D and cast in the lost wax process.

Forged Steel Work

Various decorative and functional steel forgings of knives, tools, handles and more. All forged by hand in my home forge.
